When Al Roker is ready for a party to end, he shares his daring go-to move.

When Al Roker decides that his partygoers should depart, he doesn’t play around. When partygoers remain longer than expected, the co-host of Today show has a little trick up his sleeve. While filming a video for Delish with his daughter Courtney Roker Laga, he gave an explanation of his daring go-to maneuver. Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By, the daddy-daughter team’s new cookbook, has been promoted in recent weeks. It is scheduled for launch on Tuesday, October 15.

On Friday, October 11, the magazine, Roker, and Roker Laga released a video on Instagram.

In the video, Roker Laga, 37, reads a prompt regarding their preferred arrival time for parties. She said, “I don’t like being late at all.” However, I am aware that many members of our family arrive late. Roker Laga glanced discreetly at her father at this point, and he looked away from his daughter with a remorseful expression.

Then, a tape of the meteorologist describing “the thing that drives me nuts” was cut to. The behavior that irritates Roker, 70, is “when we have a party and people won’t leave.” He went on to describe the steps he takes to motivate his visitors to leave.

Commenters on the post laughed at the revelation, with one speculating that visitors don’t want to leave the Roker residence because “they feel very, very welcomed.”

Roker was advised by an Instagram user to see lingering partygoers “as a compliment.”

Because of the inviting atmosphere you’ve established, customers feel safer inside your premises than they do outside. Thus, prepare a farewell dish of whatever you have and present it at the door 😂,” said an Instagram user.

Roker “needs the ‘please leave by 9’ banner hung up with the other party favors,” according to a different fan!
